Hey 👋
So lately, I’ve been rewriting some articles on the Rediscover Analog HQ just to refresh some content. I started with revisiting redundant articles and took down some articles that don’t belong on the website anymore.
Which brings me to…
Anyway, I’ve also been thinking about going back to reviewing products like how I used to in the past–specifically stationery. But sometimes, I feel completely out of my depth when writing detailed reviews about my hobbies. There are far better reviewers out there and probably one-too-many of reviews of a product. Meanwhile, I'm over here with thoughts like "this pen writes smooth", "this ink is really pretty" or “this paper is really smooth” then I give it an 8/10. So, I really don’t know. Maybe I’d give it a shot since I bought this Cosmo Air Light notebook to review anyway.
I did try to complete the 30 Inks challenge this month. My score: 28/30. Ironically, I lost my streak a few days after I published the newsletter about the challenge and also on the last day of April 😅 I really tried…but there are just some days that I just needed to shut my brain off. Bright side: I have 30 pens inked and ready to go for my daily morning pages in the upcoming days.
I’ve been a good girl this month with minimal spending 🥳
I said minimal, not zero.

I was so obsessed with how my photos from the Cinestill 400D turned out so I restocked.
On non-analog things, I have been thinking about replacing my soon-to-be-dying Ultrawide monitor (dead pixels have started to form so it’s only a matter of time) with a 🔗 dual stacking monitor so I can free up some desk space too.
By the way, it was Record Store Day last April 12 – and I kind of forgot about it. I missed out on Laufey’s A Night at the Symphony in Hollywood Bowl 😭 because I thought it was a duplicate of what I already had (what I get for not reading). Now I’m just hoping that she’d announce another drop in the next few months.
